Corona Virus Covid-19

At Eident we are monitoring and following current government/NHS advice and guidelines relating to the Covid-19 outbreak.

Information can be found at:

The Scottish Government has also set up a dedicated helpline to supply businesses with tailored advice on coronavirus. It will be open Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:30 and call handlers will answer questions from businesses related to Covid-19 as well as relaying the challenges faced by businesses to the Scottish government. The helpline number is 0300 303 0660.

We wipe down all equipment (keyboards, mice, armrests etc.) with disposable disinfectant wipes after each training course.  Disinfectant wipes are available in training rooms as well. The facilities teams at our venues in Glasgow and Edinburgh have increased cleaning rotas for communal areas in both buildings.

All users of the buildings are asked to notify the facilities teams if anyone develops symptoms so appropriate action can be taken, and we will be notified if any other building user develops symptoms so we can pass on relevant details to those potentially affected.

We ask all our trainers and course attendees to take sensible precautions and follow current government advice relating to travel and, if necessary, self-isolation.  In addition we would like to reinforce the following key points:

  • If you have symptoms please do not attend your course (we will re-book on an alternative future date at no additional cost).
  • If you attend a course and subsequently develop symptoms please let us know so we can inform anyone else who may be affected and so our facilities teams can take appropriate action.
  • Please also feel free to bring your own laptop to training courses if you would prefer not to use our training room equipment at this time.
  • For on-site courses at client offices we can discuss specific issues on a case by case basis, but please keep us informed of any developments as they arise.
