Microsoft Power BI Desktop Training Course

Power BI

Power BI Desktop is part of the suite of tools from Microsoft which enable data to be analysed and published from a variety of sources.  Power BI is a collection of software services, apps, and connectors that work together to turn your unrelated sources of data into coherent, visually immersive, and interactive insights. Whether your data is a simple Excel spreadsheet, or a collection of cloud-based and on-premises hybrid data warehouses, Power BI lets you easily connect to your data sources, visualize (or discover) what’s important, and share that with anyone or everyone you want.

Target audience

Anyone who needs to work with data in order to connect to, process, analyse in order to produce suitable output at all levels within an organisation.  It is assumed that attendees on the course are already working with data, are familiar with charts and PivotTable concepts. You will be either an Experienced IT or non-IT business user, perhaps with some query writing skills or a data analysis role

Note: This course does not cover Microsoft’s Power BI accessed via Office 365 or SharePoint Services or the Power BI Pro edition.
