Ribbons replace Menus
In the new Microsoft Project interface you access commands and features through Ribbons instead of the older style Menus and Toolbars. These are far more intuitive if you are a new user, but can be frustrating if you’ve been using older versions for a long time – you know something is there… you just can’t find it!
New Microsoft Project versions 2010, 2013, 2016 utilise the Ribbon in common with other Microsoft Office applications.
Microsoft have brought out a handy visual, interactive reference guide to help you find commands in Project 2010, 2013 and 2016.
The tool simulates how the old Project 2003 menus and toolbars map to the new ribbon commands. Click a command in the guide to learn its new location in the Project Ribbon.
